Why choose a private 9 day Morocco tour from Casablanca?
Nine days is the length that most travellers tell us they wish they had chosen. It keeps every highlight of the shorter loops, but it adds rest: two nights in Marrakech instead of one, and a day at the coast so the trip does not end with a long drive straight out of the desert.
Because it is private, you can also turn it around, start with Essaouira, or swap the coast for a second night in the dunes. Read about private vs group tours in Morocco to compare the two formats.

Favorites Morocco Tours vs other Morocco tour companies
Most nine-day Morocco tour packages add an extra city and keep you in the car. Ours adds rest instead: a second night in Marrakech and an easy day by the ocean. The longest drive stays the same as on the shorter tours, and the route between the desert and the gorges follows the real road rather than a shortcut on paper.
We are a local team, so we publish real driving times, keep one driver-guide for the whole trip and never add compulsory shopping stops. For Volubilis, Meknes and a night in Essaouira, compare the 10 days Morocco itinerary from Casablanca.
Know before you go
- Day 5 is the longest of the trip, about 8 hours with stops.
- The Hassan II Mosque is closed to visitors on Friday morning; if you land on a Friday, we visit it in the afternoon or on day 9.
- The Essaouira day can be replaced by a second night in the desert, the Ourika Valley or the Imlil Valley in the High Atlas.
- From December to February, snow is possible in the Middle Atlas and on the Tizi n’Tichka, and desert nights drop close to freezing. Pack a warm layer; see what to wear in Morocco.
- In July and August the south is very hot, often above 40 °C. Spring and autumn are the best seasons: check the best time to visit Morocco.
- Bring cash in dirhams for lunches, entrance fees and tips. ATMs exist in every city on the route but not at the desert camp; see our guide to the Moroccan dirham and to tipping in Morocco.
- Pack a small overnight bag for the desert camp, because your main luggage stays in the vehicle.
- Tell us about any allergy or diet before departure. Riads and camps prepare vegetarian and vegan meals with notice.
